About Amanda
Amanda is a 4th generation Houstonian who currently resides in Sienna with her 3 kiddos and husband (who happens to be her high school sweetheart!). She graduated from Abilene Christian University with a major in Accounting and a minor in History and began her career at Ernst & Young as an auditor. After she had her first daughter, she made the jump from a Big 4 firm to industry and worked at various healthcare and software companies for several years before starting Sienna Consulting in 2017.
Amanda has completed multiple Houston Marathons and half marathons and enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family, and running with her very energetic Vizsla.

In Her Words...
Many people have told me that having a third child is a game changer, and for me that was definitely the case. After I had my son in the spring of 2017 I knew something had to change. In December 2017 I quit my full time job and began contract work with a nonprofit helping them prepare for their upcoming audit. During that tax season I also took on a small number of individual and small business clients.
Since that time, I have worked diligently to educate myself on the tax reform changes and to better understand the tax and accounting needs for individuals and small businesses.
My passion is to walk alongside small business owners, especially moms and couples with young families like myself, and help them better understand the financial aspects of their businesses. My goal is to help my clients focus less on the accounting for their business and more on what they do best.
